Have you ever heard the phrase "you get out of it what you put into it"...

Serving on a committee gives you the opportunity to meet and work with other members. Committees are the life blood of any organization

There are a number of committees to get involved in:

Academic Relations: This is where we award scholarships to top students from state colleges, we even award a scholarship to a chapter member at the Scholarship Dinner!

Annual Golf Outing: Our annual golf outing is an outstanding event. This is our fundraiser for Habitat for Humanity and our scholarship fund. Check out some of the photos. A good time is had by all. A great time for a great cause.

Education: Keep those CPE's coming. We have Knowledge Networks and our bi-annual conference. Great ways to stay informed.

Programs/ Membership: These committees are combined. There is plenty of action here, planning meetings, dinners, and social events. There are plenty of opportunities to interact with other members.

Newsletter: Get important information out to the membership in a variety of ways.

Investment: Provides oversight of investment accounts (Scholarship Fund)

Nominating: This committee is made up of past presidents of our chapter. Their charge is nominate members for leadership in the local chapter.

Communications: Provide communication channels through the web site, LinkedIn, and Twitter,to keep the membership informed

Advisory Board: This group vision casts for the chapter. The group is made up of past presidents and CFMA national directors and officers.
