President’s Message:

Jim Phillips– Central Indiana CFMA Chapter President

Dear Members & Guests,

Let me be the first to welcome you to a new decade.  As we catch our breath from a frantic ending to the previous ten years many of us find ourselves in a perilous position.  Navigating through that position will require creative thinking, careful planning, and surgical execution.  This is where your membership and involvement within CFMA will pay dividends.

Many of the problems faced today can not be solved alone, or in traditional manners.  At this time our membership is 121 individuals spanning many trades and professions.  Each with unique perspectives, and all willing to share for the greater good of the Central Indiana construction industry. 

Our packed calendar provides several opportunities to enhance your professional network.  These events range from Dinner Meetings with guest speakers covering topics form Social Media to economic Trends. 

Our Education Committee has planned several classes, and full day seminar covering many great topics that are eligible for continuing education credits for CPA’s.   These sessions are custom built from the surveys of our members ensuring you we are covering topics that are both timely, and meaningful. 

Please accept my sincerest thank you for trusting  me to lead our chapter in 2010.  I encourage all members, and prospective members, to get involved.  If there is something you are looking for I believe you will find it in your Central Indiana CFMA Chapter.  If you feel there is something missing, please let me, and we can build it together.
